Obverse: Agrippa I on l., and his brother Herod of Chalcis on r., crowning emperor Claudius standing in center. Greek inscription (if complete): “King Agrippa, Augustus Caesar, King Herodes”. Below, date: LH (year 8=43 AD). Reverse: Two hands clasping. Greek inscription (if complete): “Covenant between king Agrippa and Caesar Augustus (Claudius) and the Senate and the People of Rome, brotherhood and mutual help”. With elliptic countermark depicting a male head. AJC 5a; TJC 124a. Extremely Rare.
