Obverse: Tetrastyle facade of the Temple of Jerusalem, with the Ark of the Covenant. Paleo-Hebrew inscription: “Shimon”. Reverse: Lulav (bundle of twigs and foliage), and etrog (citrus fruit) at l. Paleo-Hebrew inscription: “For the Freedom of Jerusalem”. Over-struck on a Syrian tetradrachm of Vespasian (Portrait still visible). AJC 51, TJC 267, Mildenberg 57.
