An Octagonal Translucent Glass Bottle

With vertical side and sharp definition between the eight facets, with slightly sloping shoulder tapering neck. A reinforcing trailed ridge around and under the flaring rim. With a flat strap handle joining the shoulder to ridge and folded at an acute angle to follow line of mouth.

Period: Circa 2nd-3rd Century AD
Dimensions: Height: 20.5cm
Condition: Good; rim repaired
