A Purple Glass Pitcher

With ovoid body, flaring base, cylindrical neck and flaring rim with ring under lip. The neck decoration and the handle are of green glass.

Literature: Israel Museum Coll., (H), no. 240 (same family). Constable-Maxwell Coll., no. 226 (different body).

Period: Circa 3rd-4th Century AD
Dimensions: Height: 14.2cm
Condition: Fair; with ancient crack
