A Translucent Glass Jug

Mould-blown with square body, cylindrical neck, funnel-shaped rim and a high handle. The sides are decorated as follows: a) Stylized palm or Menorah, b) Chalice with high pedestal in a shrine, c) Stylized palm with circle at top, d) Ladder-like pattern.

Literature: Moussaieff Coll., p. 302 (but with different rim).

Period: Circa 6th-7th Century AD
Dimensions: Height: 12.8cm
Condition: Good
